Script Supervisor here. Correct me if I'm am wrong but dialogue numbering is kind of an all or nothing situation? You could line the whole script at the very beginning of production and from what I understand you can adjust/edit the dialogue numbering if you make it an editable layer but when you do this, then any new/future script revisions won't have the numbering intact because it is now an editable layer, correct? So, the numbering would be subject to moving? If this is indeed the case, I am hoping that we could have the ability to dialogue number per scene/per multiple scenes....like Lining....and able to select multiple scenes to number. The reason is that I like to start numbering per scene from #1. But there are times that we combine scenes (example a phone call for 2 sides of the call) and it spans several scenes. So, it would be great to be able to dialogue number, per scene or scenes, if the editable layer doesn't travel with the script revisions.
