A way to manually insert revision pages, one page at a time, with the ability to transfer notations. In other words, a way to take a revision packet pdf and look at it (maybe even side-by-side with the main script, in horizontal orientation), and then manually chose to import certain pages from the revision packet into the main script (keeping my notations intact). (Working in live TV, I often get revision packets right before (and even during!) a show, and at that point it is too risky to run an update, because there is no longer time for me to look through the script to make sure everything transferred properly. )

Ability to move groups of pages around within the master document — necessary because sometimes the show order flips last minute. I am aware of Master Edit Mode but since pages have to be moved one at a time, it is cumbersome if you have an entire section of pages to move (Working in live TV, I often get revision packets right before (and even during!) a show, and at that point it is too risky to run an update, because there is no longer time for me to look through the script to make sure everything transferred properly.)

I think a tweak that would make selecting and deselecting objects more intuitive is if, while in "select mode", single pressing (either with pencil or finger) on a blank part of the page would deselect all. It works this way when you're NOT in "select mode" and seems like logically it could work there as well.

The Apple Pencil Pro allows you to select a tool with a press of the pencil. It would be great to have this integrated into Sciptation's annotation and tagging tools.

While this might not have been necessary implement in the past, there is a fast-growing trend for productions to shoot with multiple units and script supervisors simultaneously. This in turn means that there are more instances where multiple script supervisors on the same production are ultimately lining the same scene. To ensure that slates aren't accidentally repeated, it is crucial that script supervisors on the same production are able to combine and reconcile their slates/tramlines when sharing and importing lining layers for partially lined scenes. As of right now, if a script supervisor has already partially lined a scene in their script, and they try to import a shared lining layer that has partial lining in that same scene, they are met with a vague error dialog that the layer cannot be imported. This applies to the following cases: When the slates are the exact same on the script's current lining layer and the imported layer. Scriptation currently doesn't check for exact duplicates to eliminate redundancies. Even when the slates and/or their numbering are different. Scriptation currently isn't able to combine all the slates within a script's current lining layer and the imported layer to create a single merged lining for that scene.

LOVE THIS FEATURE!! WOULD LOVE IT EVEN MORE IF I COULD ADJUST THE SIZE AND APPEARANCE OF THE TIMECODE. THANK YOU!

I would like to keep the same layers from project to project and version to version, and on all my devices. Like saving them on my device so that each time I can use the same ones and don’t have to create them again.

I have been using Notability for years for my production needs and was exploring switching to Scriptation, but the inability to have multiple documents open side by side on macOS is unfortunately a dealbreaker for me. I'll be back when you add it! Thanks.

users asks for the ability to attach a navigable anchor to a piece of text and be able to jump to that anchor from a list. he wants to section his scripts into acts and scenes but the bookmark function doesn't work well -- if pages are added or removed the bookmarks are no longer in the right places. thumbnail description is word bookmarks rather than page bookmarks. these anchors must be transferrable from draft to draft like other annotations. 10/16/24 JL
